The international expert organization DEKRA is one of the world's top performers when it comes to sustainability. EcoVadis, the leading international standard for sustainability in global supply chains, has awarded DEKRA its highest accolade - a platinum rating. This puts DEKRA in the top 1% of all companies assessed. Remarkably, DEKRA made this leap in 2020, going straight from silver to platinum and skipping gold completely.

Compared to its 2019 assessment, DEKRA achieved significant improvements in all four EcoVadis evaluation areas: Environment Labor & Human Rights Ethics Sustainable Procurement This all-around progress places DEKRA among the top 1% of companies in its category according to EcoVadis standards. With over 65,000 companies assessed in more than 160 countries, EcoVadis is one of the world’s most recognized sustainability ratings.
Sustainability Strategy 2025: Clear and measurable commitments The DEKRA Sustainability Strategy 2025 formulates ambitious and measurable targets in key areas such as Reduction of the CO2 footprint Conversion to renewable energies Promoting employee engagement and development Promoting diversity and occupational safety Strengthening social responsibility, partnerships and sustainability in the supply chain In 2020, DEKRA also committed to the principles of the UN Global Compact and supports the vision of a sustainable global economy. In addition, DEKRA has joined the RE100 initiative and has committed to switching completely to electricity from renewable energy sources - not by 2050, but by 2025.
